Furniture Preview

The FurnitureShow plugin offers a convenient preview feature that allows players to visualize furniture items in-world before making a purchase or selecting them.

How it Works

When a player opens the furniture viewing GUI (using commands like /nwfurnitureopen <category> or /nwfurnitureopen search), they can interact with the items displayed.

  1. Setting the Preview Location: Before a player can preview furniture, an administrator needs to define a specific display point in the world. This is done using the /nwfurnitureshow setlocation command. This command saves the exact coordinates and orientation where the furniture will temporarily appear.

  2. Player Interaction: Once a preview location is set for an item:

    • When a player clicks on a furniture item within the GUI, the plugin will temporarily display that specific furniture item at the pre-defined display_location.

    • This allows players to see how the furniture looks in a 3D environment, helping them decide if it fits their aesthetic.

  3. Returning to the GUI: The preview is temporary. The displayed furniture will disappear when the player closes the GUI or selects another item for preview. In the case where the furniture disappears automatically, this behavior is controlled by the cooldown setting, which can be adjusted in settings → cooldown.
